A blade lost power. The blade may be pulled out

What is bigipBladeNoPower?

This is a notification event that is sent when a blade module in a modular F5 BigIP system loses electrical power, typically due to the blade being physically removed or a power supply failure. Blades are pluggable computational modules, and loss of power degrades system capacity. Operators rely on this alert to detect hardware failures and respond by replacing failed power supplies or reinstalling disconnected blades.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipBladeNoPower
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.88

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
