Description:
The HTTP request issued a violation to the current active policy. This violation is marked as an alerting violation in that policy in Application Security Module.
What is bigipAsmRequestViolation?
This notification is triggered whenever an HTTP request violates the active security policy defined in the F5 Application Security Module (ASM), alerting administrators to potential attack attempts or policy violations. Each trap includes the notification object containing details about the violation, enabling security teams to log incidents and correlate them with other security events. Operators monitor this trap to detect policy breaches in real-time and respond to threats before they cause service disruption.
