What is bigipARPConflict?

This notification is sent when the F5 BIG-IP system detects an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) conflict on the network. An ARP conflict occurs when two devices claim the same IP address, which can cause network communication failures. Network operators monitor this notification to quickly identify and resolve IP address duplication issues that could disrupt load balancing or failover operations.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
