Description:
SNMPv1 Traps enable(0)/disable(1). Enables traps for SNMP protocol version 1. See Web, Administration, SNMP, Traps, Enable SNMPv1 Traps.
What is trapv1Enable?
This OID is a switch that enables or disables SNMP trap notifications sent using the older version 1 protocol. When enabled (set to 0), the device will send alerts about problems to monitoring systems. An admin would change this setting to decide whether the device reports issues to an older monitoring system that only understands SNMPv1, or to disable outdated alerts.
