This object specifies which type of write operation on the target OID, add, delete, modify, or any, should trigger creation of a SmartTrap instance entry. Admins use it to scope a monitoring rule so it only fires for the kind of change they care about, such as only new-row creation versus any modification. Setting this to modify(3) means the rule only records changes when an existing value at extremeSmartTrapRulesDesiredOID is altered, not when rows are added or removed.
