extremeFileTransferStartOperStatus

Module: EXTREME-FILETRANSFER-MIB

OID (symbolic): EXTREME-FILETRANSFER-MIB::extremeFileTransferStartOperStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.10.1.2.1.7

The current status is determined by the agent by examining the values for extremeFileTransferOperation and extremeFileTransferStartAdminStatus.

What is extremeFileTransferStartOperStatus?

This read-only value reports the current operational state of a configured file-transfer entry -- whether it's sitting idle, has a transfer scheduled for later, or is actively transferring a file right now. Administrators check this before attempting to modify the transfer operation's settings, since changes are only allowed while this shows idle, to avoid interrupting an in-progress or already-scheduled transfer. For example, an admin would poll this value and see inProgress(3) while a firmware download is actively underway, confirming they shouldn't yet attempt to change the operation type for that entry.
