extremeErpsRingOperatingMode
Module: EXTREME-ERPS-MIB
OID (symbolic): EXTREME-ERPS-MIB::extremeErpsRingOperatingMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.46.2.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object identifies whether the ring is operating in revertive or nonRevertive manner. In revertive mode of operation, once the failed link recovers, the data path will be switched back from protection path to working path.
In nonRevertive mode of operation, once the failed link recovers, one of the recovered link port will remain in blocked state and the data still remains in the protection path.
This object can be changed, only when the rowstatus for this ring is not active.
What is extremeErpsRingOperatingMode?
Sets whether the ring recovers in revertive(1) mode, where traffic switches back to the working path once a failed link is restored, or nonRevertive(2) mode, where traffic stays on the protection path with one recovered port left blocked; this can only be changed while the ring's row status is not active.
