What is extremeEdpNeighborId?

Holds the unique device identifier that the neighboring Extreme switch announced about itself in its EDP hello packets, as reported on the discovering port. Admins use it to uniquely recognize which specific neighbor device is attached to a port, distinct from its human-readable name, when scripting inventory or topology tools against the ExtremeDeviceId type. A management tool polling extremeEdpNeighborId could cross-reference the returned device identifier against an asset database, even if two neighbors share the same displayed name.
