extremeDosEnable
Module: EXTREME-DOS-MIB
OID (symbolic): EXTREME-DOS-MIB::extremeDosEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.28.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The Flag indicates whether DOS protection is enabled or disabled.
What is extremeDosEnable?
This read-write TruthValue turns Denial-of-Service (DoS) protection on or off for the switch, defaulting to false. Admins enable it to activate the device's built-in flood detection and mitigation for incoming traffic. Setting it to true(1) arms DoS protection so the notice and alert thresholds configured elsewhere in this MIB take effect.
