eventlogCorEventID

Module: EVENTLOG-MIB

OID (symbolic): EVENTLOG-MIB::eventlogCorEventID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.9.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Correlated event ID of the event being generated.

What is eventlogCorEventID?

This read-only INTEGER holds the ID of the event correlated with this log entry, linking related events together. An admin uses it to trace a chain of related events back to the root-cause occurrence, rather than investigating each symptom event independently. For example, several eventlogEventID entries all sharing the same eventlogCorEventID would indicate they were all triggered by that one correlated event.
