Module: ESI-MIB

OID (symbolic): ESI-MIB::trPacketSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.683.5.3.3

Description: You should only change the packet size if you are using a driver for your Token Ring adapter which allows packet sizes greater than One_K.

In order for changes to this variable to take effect, the device must be reset. See cmdReset to do this.

What is trPacketSize?

Sets the maximum Token Ring frame size the adapter will use: one-k(1), two-k(2), or four-k(3). Per the description, it should only be changed if the driver supports frames larger than 1K; a reset is required afterward.
