tcpipRestoreDefaults

Module: ESI-MIB

OID (symbolic): ESI-MIB::tcpipRestoreDefaults

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.683.6.3.1.3.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A value of 2 will restore all tcpip parameters on the print server to factory defaults, as well as reset the print server.

What is tcpipRestoreDefaults?

Setting this to yes(2) restores all TCP/IP parameters (address, gateway, ports, security ranges) to factory defaults and reboots the print server. Useful when a bad IP/gateway/subnet combination has locked the device off the network and starting the TCP/IP config fresh is faster than fixing each field.
