nwQueueScanTime

Module: ESI-MIB

OID (symbolic): ESI-MIB::nwQueueScanTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.683.6.3.2.4.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Determines how often, in tenths of a second that the print server will scan the queues for jobs.

In order for changes to this variable to take effect, the print server must be reset. See cmdReset to do this.

What is nwQueueScanTime?

How often, in tenths of a second (1-255), the print server polls NetWare queues for new jobs. Lowering it reduces print-start latency at the cost of more frequent queue-server traffic; requires a device reset to apply.
