Description: In the event that the ATM module fails a loopback test during POST, this object will indicate which portion of the test caused the failure. If the value of fmAtmCfgPOSTTest is anything other than local-loopback(17) or host-loopback(18) this object will have the value no-failure(2).

What is fmAtmCfgPOSTLoopbackResult?

This reports which part of a loopback test caused a failure when fmAtmCfgPOSTTest indicates a loopback test failed (local-loopback or host-loopback), such as cannot-transmit, receive-timeout, data-mismatch, or buffer-error; otherwise it reports no-failure. Note the source DESCRIPTION text cites stale numeric labels ("local-loopback(17) or host-loopback(18)", "no-failure(2)") that don't match the actual SYNTAX enumeration (local-loopback is 18, host-loopback is 19, no-failure is 3) — an admin should go by the enum's real numbering, not the description's numbers, when interpreting a returned value.
