esModuleDisabledDisplayMap

Module: ES-MODULE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ES-MODULE-MIB::esModuleDisabledDisplayMap

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.437.1.1.2.1.2.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: A bit array where the presence of a particular bit indicates a lit disabled LED for a module port.

Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight disabled LEDs, with the first octet specifying disabled LEDs for ports 1 through 8, the second octet specifying disabled LEDs 9 through 16, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered LED, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered LED. Thus, each LED is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of '1' then that LED is currently lit; the LED is not lit if its bit has a value of '0'.

What is esModuleDisabledDisplayMap?

This is a bitmap mirroring the module's front-panel disabled LEDs, one bit per port, where a '1' bit means that port's disabled LED is currently lit. An admin's management tool can use this to remotely see at a glance which of a module's ports have been administratively or automatically disabled.
