Description:

This trap is used to notify a NMS that a user has copied all connections from a source map (lastMapCopied) to another destination map indicated by connMapID.

What is connMapCopyTrap?

This OID is an alert event (notification) sent by network equipment when a network operator copies all connection settings from one configuration map to another. It doesn't hold a stored value but signals an action that occurred; the operator needs this notification to track when configurations are being duplicated across the device. A network engineer would monitor these alerts to audit configuration changes and ensure the destination map is properly updated with all source connections.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
