Module: ERI-DNX-OCTAL-HIGH-SPEED-MIB
OID (symbolic): ERI-DNX-OCTAL-HIGH-SPEED-MIB::oHSCfgMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.644.2.4.2.5.1.1.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The port's configured transfer mode. nxDs0 (0) Transfer rate is Kbps per channel multiplied by Ds0s in configured Connection ds0-A (1) 9.6 K mode nxDs0-Special (2) Special Control signals mode not valid with X.21 ds0-A-Special (3) 9.6 K mode plus Special Control signals mode
What is oHSCfgMode?
oHSCfgMode selects the port's transfer mode: nxDs0 (rate is Kbps-per-channel times configured DS0 count), ds0-A (fixed 9.6K mode), or their "Special" variants that add special control-signal handling. Admins pick this to match the bandwidth and signaling behavior the connected DTE equipment expects, since it changes how the port's data rate and control signals are derived. For example, setting oHSCfgMode to nxDs0-Special(2) would configure the port for a multi-DS0 aggregate rate with special control signaling, a combination the MIB notes isn't valid when the port type is X.21.
