What is oHSCfgCmdStatus?

oHSCfgCmdStatus is the command/status field that must be included as the final variable in any SET PDU for changes to this row to actually take effect, using command codes like update-link-config(1), inServiceAll(7), copyToAll(9), or outOfServiceAll(12). On a successful GET RESPONSE after a SET, the agent returns a corresponding success code such as update-successful(101); if the field is omitted from a SET, the response returns SNMP error status 'genErr', and numeric error codes (400-699) report specific problems like an invalid interface type or a data lock held by another user. For example, to change a port's name and interface type, an admin's SET PDU would include the new oHSCfgPortName and oHSCfgType values plus oHSCfgCmdStatus set to update-link-config(1) as the last variable, and expect update-successful(101) back on success.
