Description: Operational priority assigned to the associated chassis identifier. When responding to a VSB link failure, the currently operational chassis with the highest priority is allowed to remain operational. This value is in the range between 1..255.
What is etsysVsbChassisLfrOperPriority?
This object sets the operational priority, from 1 to 255, assigned to a chassis for Link Failure Response purposes; when a VSB link failure occurs, the currently operational chassis with the highest priority remains operational. An admin configures this to control which chassis survives and continues operating if the bonding link between chassis fails, a kind of split-brain tiebreaker. For example, an admin might assign a higher priority value to the chassis hosting the primary uplinks so it remains active during a link failure event.
