etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold

Module: ENTERASYS-TRANSMIT-QUEUE-MONITOR-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-TRANSMIT-QUEUE-MONITOR-MIB::etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.99.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Threshold levels for the number of sequential failures before triggering disable port action. A value of 0 disables the action.

What is etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold?

Sets the number of consecutive sample-interval failures a port must accumulate before Transmit Queue Monitor administratively disables it. A value of 0 disables this most severe escalation action. The default of 10 means a persistently stalled port is shut down only after ten consecutive failed checks, giving transient congestion time to clear first.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.99.1.1.8
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-TRANSMIT-QUEUE-MONITOR-MIB::etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.99.1.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-TRANSMIT-QUEUE-MONITOR-MIB::etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.99.1.1.8.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> etsysTxqMonitorDisablePortThreshold.1
