etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold

Module: ENTERASYS-SPANNING-TREE-DIAGNOSTIC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-SPANNING-TREE-DIAGNOSTIC-MIB::etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.29.1.7.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The number of disputed BPDUs that must be received on a particular port on a particular Spanning Tree instance before a disputed BPDU notification is generated. If a notification has been previously generated on behalf of this port/instance, then this object represents the number of disputed BPDUs that must be received since the prior notification before generating a subsequent notification. Setting this object to zero will cause generation of notifications to be disabled.

What is etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold?

Sets how many disputed BPDUs must be seen on a port/instance before a disputed-BPDU trap fires; setting it to zero disables the notification, and after the first trap the count restarts from zero for the next one.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.29.1.7.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-SPANNING-TREE-DIAGNOSTIC-MIB::etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.29.1.7.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-SPANNING-TREE-DIAGNOSTIC-MIB::etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.29.1.7.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> etsysStpDiagDisputedBpduTrapThreshold.1
