Description: Controls the operation of the Secure Shell server. When enabled and the etsysSecureShellServerOperStatus object is 'operational' the Secure Shell server will accept connection requests and provide a secure CLI session for properly authenticated users. Setting this object to 'reinitialize' when it is in the 'enabled' state will cause the Secure Shell Server task to reinitialize itself and the value of this object will remain 'enabled'. Setting this object to 'reinitialize' from any other state will have no effect.
What is etsysSecureShellServerAdminStatus?
This setting controls whether the SSH server is enabled or disabled, and can also trigger the server to reinitialize itself while remaining enabled; it defaults to disabled. Admins use it to turn secure CLI access on for the device and to force the SSH service to restart, for example after changing ciphers or host keys, without a full device reboot. Setting etsysSecureShellServerAdminStatus to reinitialize(3) while it's already enabled restarts the SSH server task so new cipher or MAC settings take effect.
