Description: The cipher(s) that the server should accept for use in encrypting secure sessions. A re-initialization of the server may be required for this selection to take effect. By default managed entities SHOULD enable all of their supported ciphers.
What is etsysSecureShellServerAdminCiphers?
This value specifies which ciphers the SSH server should accept for encrypting secure sessions, and by default all supported ciphers should be enabled; a server reinitialization may be required for a change to take effect. Admins restrict this list to remove weak or deprecated ciphers for security hardening. Removing a legacy cipher like DES from etsysSecureShellServerAdminCiphers and reinitializing the server stops SSH clients from being able to negotiate that weak cipher.
