etsysQuarantineAgentPortSessionTimeout

Module: ENTERASYS-QUARANTINE-AGENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-QUARANTINE-AGENT-MIB::etsysQuarantineAgentPortSessionTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.93.2.1.2.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum number of seconds a quarantined session may last before termination of the session. A value of zero indicates that the global etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout value will be used.

What is etsysQuarantineAgentPortSessionTimeout?

This read-write Unsigned32 (0 or 1-65535 seconds, default 0) sets the maximum lifetime of a quarantined session before forced termination; a value of zero defers to the global etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout setting, per RFC 2865 section 5.27 semantics. Admins configure a specific timeout to ensure quarantined devices are periodically re-evaluated rather than sitting in quarantine indefinitely. For example, setting this to 3600 forces a quarantined session to end after one hour regardless of activity.
