Description: If OSPF is attempting to undergo a hitless restart, this field specifies the length of grace period that should be requested from adjacent routers in grace LSAs. After this timer period has passed, an RTM will delete routes from this RPM from its routing table, and so hitless restart will have failed. Hitless grace period must be greater than zero.

What is etsysOspfExtHitlessGracePeriod?

The grace period, in seconds (1-1800, default 120), that this router requests from neighbors via grace LSAs during a hitless restart; if the restart isn't complete before this timer expires, neighboring routers will delete routes learned from this router and the hitless restart fails.
