Module: ENTERASYS-MULTI-USER-8021X-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MULTI-USER-8021X-MIB::etsysMulti1xAeBackendNonNakResponsesFromSupplicant

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.53.1.2.3.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: Counts the number of times that the state machine receives a response from the Supplicant to an initial EAP-Request, and the response is something other than EAP-NAK (i.e., rxResp becomes TRUE, causing the state machine to transition from REQUEST to RESPONSE, and the response is not an EAP-NAK). Indicates that the Supplicant can respond to the Authenticator's chosen EAP-method.

What is etsysMulti1xAeBackendNonNakResponsesFromSupplicant?

This counts how many times this Access Entity received a non-NAK response from the supplicant to an EAP-Request, showing the supplicant is willing and able to use the EAP method the authenticator selected. A supplicant that only ever sends NAKs here would signal an EAP-method mismatch.
