Module: ENTERASYS-MSTP-MIB
OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MSTP-MIB::etsysMstpConfigName
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.28.1.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SnmpAdminString
Access: read-write
Description: The configuration name of the MST region to which this bridge belongs. The default value is the Bridge Address of this bridge, as a text string using the Hexadecimal Representation defined in IEEE Std. 802.
What is etsysMstpConfigName?
The human-assigned name (up to 32 characters) identifying the MST region this bridge belongs to; switches must share the same config name, revision level, and digest to be considered part of the same region, so admins usually set this deliberately rather than relying on the default bridge-address string.
