Description: The supported actions that the Link Flap feature can take when link flap activity exceeds the associated threshold on this interface.

disableInterface(0) - Capability to set the interface operational status to 'down'.

generateSyslogEntry(1) - Capability to create syslog messages.

generateNotification(2) - Capability to generate SNMP notifications.

Please see the LinkFlapIntfAction textual convention defined in this MIB.

What is etsysLinkFlapSystemSupportedActions?

This read-only bitmask reports which actions the Link Flap feature is capable of taking on this device when flap activity crosses a threshold: disabling the interface, generating a syslog entry, and/or generating an SNMP notification. Admins read it to discover the platform's capabilities before configuring per-interface etsysLinkFlapIntfAction settings, since selecting an unsupported action would have no effect. For example, a device reporting only generateSyslogEntry(1) and generateNotification(2) set, without disableInterface(0), tells the admin this platform can alert on flapping links but cannot automatically shut them down.
