Maintaining the value of this object across agent reboots is REQUIRED.

What is etsysLinkFlapIntfAction?

This read-write bitmask configures which specific actions, disabling the interface, logging a syslog entry, and/or sending an SNMP notification, Link Flap will take on this interface when its flap threshold is exceeded. Admins tailor this per port so that, for example, critical uplinks generate alerts without ever being automatically shut down, while less critical access ports can be disabled outright. For example, setting only generateSyslogEntry and generateNotification, without disableInterface, on a core uplink ensures NOC staff are alerted to flapping without the link itself being taken down.
