etsysEthOamExtOperStatus
Module: ENTERASYS-ETH-OAM-EXT-MIB
OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-ETH-OAM-EXT-MIB::etsysEthOamExtOperStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.78.1.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This value defines the operational status for the Ethernet-like interface. If the link is operating normally, the value is operational(1). State disabled(2) is entered if an error occurs. Errors that will cause this state are Symbol Period error, Frame Period error, Frame error, and Frame Seconds Summary error. Setting the state to operational(1) when it is in state disabled(2) will cause all violation errors to be cleared. Any other write of this object will have no effect.
This value SHOULD NOT be maintained across reboot.
What is etsysEthOamExtOperStatus?
The operational status of Ethernet OAM on this interface: operational(1) under normal conditions, or disabled(2) after a Symbol Period, Frame Period, Frame, or Frame Seconds error trips it. An admin clears the fault by writing operational(1), which resets all violation errors; note the state itself is not preserved across a reboot.
