etsysEncrDot1xAuthServerTimeout

Module: ENTERASYS-ENCR-8021X-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-ENCR-8021X-CONFIG-MIB::etsysEncrDot1xAuthServerTimeout

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: An encrypted octet string containing

The value, in seconds, of the serverTimeout constant currently in use by the Backend Authentication state machine.

The data type is 1, Integer32.

What is etsysEncrDot1xAuthServerTimeout?

This object holds, in encrypted form, the serverTimeout value in seconds used by the 802.1x Backend Authentication state machine per IEEE 802.1x Section 9.6.4.1. Admins tune this to set how long the switch waits for a response from the RADIUS authentication server before treating the request as failed. For example, an encrypted value decoding to 30 fails over after 30 seconds of no reply from the authentication server.
