The value, in seconds, of the quietPeriod constant currently in use by the Authenticator PAE state machine.

The data type is 1, Integer32.

What is etsysEncrDot1xAuthQuietPeriod?

This object holds, in encrypted form, the quietPeriod timer value in seconds used by the 802.1x Authenticator PAE state machine per IEEE 802.1x Section 9.6.4.1. Admins tune this to control how long the port waits after a failed authentication before starting a new authentication attempt. For example, an encrypted value decoding to 60 makes the port wait 60 seconds between authentication attempts.
