What Is ELTEX-MES-QOS-TAIL-DROP-MIB?

ELTEX-MES-QOS-TAIL-DROP-MIB is an Eltex (MES switch series) proprietary MIB configuring QoS Tail-Drop buffer-management profiles. Its profile-queue table, keyed by profile/queue index, records shared-pool usage mode and queue buffer limit, an interface-config table binds a profile to an interface, a unit-level config table sets physical-buffer, total-descriptor, total-buffer, multicast-descriptor/buffer, and shared-descriptor/buffer limits, a profile table records port limit, and a status table reports current usage. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm per-queue buffer limits and watch shared-pool usage to prevent tail-drop congestion loss on an Eltex MES switch. It is deployed on the Eltex MES switch series. Engineers can download the ELTEX-MES-QOS-TAIL-DROP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
