eltLbdVlanBasedRecoveryTime

Module: ELTEX-MES-LBD-MIB

OID (symbolic): ELTEX-MES-LBD-MIB::eltLbdVlanBasedRecoveryTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.127.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: VLAN disable period in seconds. Valid only for VLAN based loopback detection. Default value of 0 means that VLAN will never be recovered.

What is eltLbdVlanBasedRecoveryTime?

A read-write integer, in seconds, setting how long a VLAN stays disabled on a port after VLAN-based loopback detection blocks it, with a default of 0 meaning it stays disabled indefinitely until manually cleared. This controls whether the switch automatically restores a blocked VLAN after the physical loop is presumably fixed, or requires manual intervention, which affects how quickly service is restored versus the risk of re-enabling a still-looped VLAN. An admin might set this to 300 seconds so a VLAN blocked due to a detected loop automatically re-enables five minutes later, giving time for the loop to be physically corrected.
