Description: The fault message string.

What is msgString?

This is a short text string carried as part of an SNMP trap, holding a plain-language fault message generated by the dial-up/ISDN device when it reports a problem. It exists purely to give a human reading the trap a quick summary of what went wrong, without the recipient having to look up an error code elsewhere. For example, the trap payload might carry a value like "Line disconnected: no carrier detected" so that a monitoring console can display something immediately understandable.
