nbsEthChnRunList

Module: ECHN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ECHN-MIB::nbsEthChnRunList

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.5.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Bitmap of ports forming the Ethernet Channel in the Run Data Base. Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight ports, with the first octet specifying ports 1 through 8, the second octet specifying ports 9 through 16, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered port, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered port. Thus, each port of the switch is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of <1> then that port is included in the set of ports. The port is not included if its bit has a value of <0>.

What is nbsEthChnRunList?

This read-write octet-string bitmap identifies which physical ports are bundled into a given Ethernet Channel's RUN entry, with each bit representing one port (1 = included, 0 = excluded) across successive octets of eight ports each. Admins write this value to define exactly which switch ports form the aggregated link when creating or modifying a channel. For example, setting the first octet's two most significant bits would include ports 1 and 2 in that running channel's port bundle.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.5.1.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ECHN-MIB::nbsEthChnRunList

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.5.1.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ECHN-MIB::nbsEthChnRunList.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.5.1.1.1.3.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> nbsEthChnRunList.1
