nbsEthChnRunLinkList

Module: ECHN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ECHN-MIB::nbsEthChnRunLinkList

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.5.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: Bitmap of only Linked ports forming the Ethernet Channel in the Run Data Base. Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight ports, with the first octet specifying ports 1 through 8, the second octet specifying ports 9 through 16, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered port, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered port. Thus, each port of the switch is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of <1> then that port is included in the set of ports. The port is not included if its bit has a value of <0>.

What is nbsEthChnRunLinkList?

This read-only octet-string bitmap uses the same per-port bit encoding as nbsEthChnRunList but reports only the member ports of a RUN Ethernet Channel that currently have an active physical link. Admins compare it against nbsEthChnRunList to spot configured member ports that have actually lost link and dropped out of the aggregation's forwarding path. For example, if the configured list includes ports 1-4 but this bitmap shows only ports 1 and 2 set, ports 3 and 4 are down.
