What is alarmLevel?
This value indicates where a given alarm currently stands in its lifecycle, from freshly critical or cautionary, through acknowledged by an operator, to cleared and finally closed out. An administrator uses this to triage which alarms in the table still need action -- for instance, filtering for critical or active entries that haven't yet been acknowledged. As an example, a power-supply fault alarm might start at critical(1) when it fires, move to acknowledged(3) once an operator notes it, and finally reach closed(6) after the supply is replaced.
