What is dvbNiuMulticast?

Controls how much IGMP/multicast traffic the NIU forwards between the cable (HFC) side and the subscriber side: disabled blocks all multicast and IGMP, downstreamOnly/upstreamOnly restrict forwarding and IGMP handling to one direction, and enabled allows full two-way multicast. An admin deploying a typical video-only residential service would commonly set this to downstreamOnly.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.110.1.1.1.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DVB-CABLE-NIU-MIB::dvbNiuMulticast

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.110.1.1.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DVB-CABLE-NIU-MIB::dvbNiuMulticast.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.3.110.1.1.1.13.1 i <value>
