Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RouteDescriptor

Access: read-only

Description: Static Entries contain route descriptor information for internal Bridge Ports. These entries are added as part of the initialization of the DTR Concentrator when an internal bridge relay function is enabled (dtrOperNumberOfBridgeRelays=1) The Route Descriptor (RD) consists of 2 parts; a 4 bit Bridge Number and a 12 bit LAN ID. This identifies a bridge (BN) that has a port on the local LAN and a port connected to the indicated LAN ID. This object consists of 3 octets. The first octet contains the BN in the 4 least significant bits. The second octet contains the most significant octet of the LAN ID and the final octet contains the least significant 4 bits of the LAN ID in the 4 most significant bits of the octet.

What is dtrFdbStaticRDRouteDesc?

A statically configured Route Descriptor for an internal bridge port, added automatically when the concentrator's internal bridge relay function is enabled (dtrOperNumberOfBridgeRelays=1); encodes a 4-bit bridge number and 12-bit LAN ID across 3 octets.
