Description: The current operational status of the cross-connect over the primary PVC.
What is pgBackupVcPrimaryOperStatus?
This value reports the current operational status of the ATM cross-connect over the primary permanent virtual circuit (PVC). Admins monitor it to know whether the primary PVC is actually passing traffic or has failed, which determines whether the backup circuit is currently in use. A down status here would explain why a subscriber's traffic has failed over to the secondary PVC.
