Module: DS0-MIB
OID (symbolic): DS0-MIB::dsx0Ds0ChannelNumber
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.81.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: This object indicates the channel number of the ds0 on its DS1/E1.
What is dsx0Ds0ChannelNumber?
This read-only value gives the channel number of a specific DS0 timeslot within its parent DS1 or E1 link. It lets an admin identify which of the 24 (T1) or 31 (E1) timeslots a given DS0 entry represents when reading the DS0 table. For example, a value of 5 identifies the sixth timeslot (channel numbering starts at 0) on that DS1/E1 span.
