What is syslogParamsSeverityCompOP?

The default comparison operator (e.g. greaterThanOrEqual, equal) applied against a message's severity before selection rules in syslogCtlSelectionTable are evaluated. This lets an admin decide, for example, whether 'severity 4' means 'at least warning' or 'exactly warning'.
