Module: DRAFT-IETF-SYSLOG-MIB

OID (symbolic): DRAFT-IETF-SYSLOG-MIB::syslogParamsSendToAllAddresses

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.999999.2.2.1.4

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: If the destination host, for a message to be forwarded, has more than one A or AAAA record process, Send the message to all the addresses (true) else send to only one of the addresses.

What is syslogParamsSendToAllAddresses?

When true, and the forwarding destination hostname resolves to multiple A/AAAA records, the process sends the message to all of them instead of just one (default false). Enable this if you want redundant delivery to every IP a multi-homed log collector's name resolves to.
