fddimibSMTConfigPolicy

Module: DRAFT-FDDI-MIB-VER-3-2

OID (symbolic): DRAFT-FDDI-MIB-VER-3-2::fddimibSMTConfigPolicy

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.3.8.73.1.2.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A value that indicates the configuration policies currently desired in a node. 'Hold' is one of the terms used for the Hold Flag, an optional ECM flag used to enable the optional Hold policy.

The value is a sum. This value initially takes the value zero, then for each of the configuration policies currently enforced on the node, 2 raised to a power is added to the sum. The powers are according to the following table:

Policy Power configurationhold 0

What is fddimibSMTConfigPolicy?

This column sets which configuration policies are currently enforced on this node, encoded the same way as fddimibSMTConfigCapabilities: setting the configurationhold bit enables the optional Hold policy on this station. An administrator writes this to actually turn on a capability the station has already reported as supported.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.8.73.1.2.1.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DRAFT-FDDI-MIB-VER-3-2::fddimibSMTConfigPolicy

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.8.73.1.2.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DRAFT-FDDI-MIB-VER-3-2::fddimibSMTConfigPolicy.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.3.8.73.1.2.1.13.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> fddimibSMTConfigPolicy.1
