Description: The strap resistance measurement.

What is cgStrapResist?

This value reports the resistance of the strap, or interconnect, at a battery connection. Rising strap resistance indicates a loose or corroded connection that can cause charging problems and heat buildup even when the battery cell itself is healthy. For example, a jump from 50 to 400 micro-ohms on one strap suggests it needs cleaning or retightening.
