Module: DOCS-IF31-MIB

OID (symbolic): DOCS-IF31-MIB::docsIf31CmtsUsOfdmaDataIucStatsInOctets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4491.2.1.28.1.24.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter64

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute is the count of MAC-layer octets received by the CCAP on this Data IUC. This value is the size of all unicast, multicast or broadcast octets (including all MAC- layer framing) and CCF PMD overhead (segment headers and stuffing bytes) delivered from the Phy to the MAC; this includes user data, DOCSIS MAC Management Messages, etc.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at reinitialization of the managed system, and at other times as indicated by the value of docsIf31CmtsUsOfdmaDataIucStats- CtrDiscontinuityTime.

What is docsIf31CmtsUsOfdmaDataIucStatsInOctets?

A 64-bit counter of MAC-layer octets (unicast, multicast, and broadcast, including MAC-layer framing and CCF PMD overhead such as segment headers and stuffing bytes) the CCAP received on this Data IUC on the upstream OFDMA channel. This is the throughput counter admins use per IUC/modulation tier to see how much traffic volume is actually being carried at that modulation level; the counter can reset on system reinitialization.
