Description: This attribute indicates whether the skip modulation method is used. If true the modulation order of the subcarriers in the range is alternating between the MainModulation and SkipModulation.

What is docsIf31CmtsDsOfdmSubcarrierStatusSkip?

A true/false flag indicating whether skip modulation is used for this group of subcarriers on the downstream OFDM channel; when true, the modulation order alternates between MainModulation and SkipModulation across the subcarriers in the range, typically to work around a localized impairment affecting every other subcarrier. Admins checking a channel's modulation profile should look at this flag first, since it changes how MainModulation and SkipModulation should be interpreted together.
