Description: The QAM channel muting capabilities. 'qamDependency' BIT set to '1' indicates the QAM Mute state has dependencies with other QAM channels as indicated in docsDrfGroupDependencyTable.
When 'qamDependency' BIT is set to '1', a request to mute a QAM channels in a dependency group (with docsDrfGroupDependencyType set to docsDrfPhyParamSameValue), sets all QAM channels in the dependency group to mute.
What is docsDrfDownstreamCapabMuting?
This single-bit BITS value (qamDependency) reports whether muting the QAM channel's carrier is tied to the mute state of other channels in a dependency group. An admin taking a channel offline for maintenance checks this bit, because if set, muting this channel will mute every other QAM channel sharing the same dependency group. With qamDependency set to 1, requesting a mute on this channel via docsDrfChannelBlockMute mutes all QAM channels in its dependency group at once, not just this one.
