What is dlswDirMacCacheMisses?
A running counter of how many times a lookup of a MAC address in the local directory cache failed to find an entry, forcing a broader resolution. An admin watching this rise relative to dlswDirMacCacheHits can infer the MAC cache isn't retaining the addresses actually being queried.
